I was expecting some rock-type of the song to be honest. I was very impressed to hear some raw cut bars from Nick here. Papercuts are joined by some fantastic visuals that really tie everything together. This is the first time I have ever seen a true connection between a song and a video. The song itself is fairly simple with no adlibs or crazy backtracks. The song is creative beyond rapping to a beat. I love the whispers that showcase thoughts in his head. There is a lot of anger within the song and you can feel that same anger while listening. It's a good song to rage to. I weirdly would probably even listen to this when working out. The emptiness of the song may turn some listeners off, but to be honest, if you can't hear the talent in this song, you are just missing out. Check out the video below.
