As you should know, Lil Tjay was shot 7 times this year and fought for his life. Thank God he is recovering well and has released a new song with visuals titled "Beat the Odds". I clicked so fast when I saw this, because of course I want to know what happened, but also just want to know how his mindset may have changed, or just how he is feeling in general about life. The video shows him still in the hospital recovering, but he's recording and writing as well. It reminds me of through the wire with Kanye in a sense. The video is at about 10M and still growing. From what I got from his words, he is definitely about to stay strapped with Guns and make sure he is never caught lacking again. There are so many rappers dying from getting shot and for him to survive is such a blessing and I am pretty sure he is aware of that. It seems like he has no plans to stop his momentum in his career. I just hope this experience doesn't mess him up even more mentally and emotionally. I never really took the time to listen to Lil Tjay too much, but now that I have, I see he has a unique sound and speaks facts in his music. Much respect to him and I hope he continues to have a good recovery.
